Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is for https://groupadda.com and the GroupAdda Android app (package com.groupadda.app).

GroupAdda is a public directory of WhatsApp and Telegram groups and channels. Listings are user-submitted and go live only after human admin review. There is no adult category.

No public registration

Public users do not create an account. There is no public name, email, or password signup. You can browse and add a group without registering. We identify you with a device ID.

Website: a random device ID in a cookie named ga_did (about 2 years). It is not your name, phone, or email.
Android app: a random install ID on first open, plus a one-way hash of the Android ID — so the same phone can keep listings, points, and Play purchases, and so we can cut points if Google refunds a buy.

Only site admins have an email/password login. That login is not offered to the public.

Data we store

Device ID (website cookie or app install ID) and, on Android, a hashed Android ID.
Listings you submit: title, description, invite link, member count, country, language, category.
Points balance, promote history, and a log of point changes.
Google Play purchase records: product id, order id, purchase token, points, completed or refunded — tied to your device ID. Prices are in USD.
Reports you send about a listing.
Hashed IP addresses for spam control and anonymous page-view counts. We do not put raw IP in the public directory.

We do not collect your phone number, contacts, SMS, photos, precise location, or government ID. We do not sell personal data. We do not store a public user email/password for members.

Data sits in a locked file on the server (not a public database). Admins can see device IDs, buyers, and pending listings.

How we use it

To show and moderate group/channel listings.
To know which listings belong to which device (edit, promote, points).
To complete in-app purchases and to remove points if a purchase is cancelled or refunded.
To count website page views and app installs for the admin dashboard.
To ban a device that breaks the rules (spam, adult content, abuse).

The website and app may show ads. An admin can turn website ads, AdMob, and custom ads off.

Google AdMob (app): Google may use the advertising ID under Google’s policies. See Google Privacy Policy. You can limit ad tracking in Android settings.
Custom ads: image and link set by us.

Payments (Google Play)

Points are sold only through Google Play Billing in USD. Google processes the payment. We receive product id, purchase token, and order id so we can credit points. If you cancel or Google voids/refunds the purchase, we deduct those points from that device. We do not store your full card number.

Third parties

Google (Play Billing, AdMob) when you use the app or see ads.
WhatsApp / Telegram only when you tap Join. We do not upload your address book.
The hosting provider that stores this website.

GroupAdda is not affiliated with Meta, WhatsApp, Telegram, or Google except as a Play/AdMob publisher and a site that lists public invite links.

Children

The service is for users aged 13+ (or the digital-consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Sexual content, including any content involving minors, is banned. See our Child Safety & Content Policy.

Your choices — remove my data

Because there is no public login, “delete” means: remove this device’s ID, tokens, and related personal fields.

Email hello@groupadda.com with your device ID (shown on My groups / Profile)

Approved listings may stay in the public directory unless you ask us to take them down. After removal, a new device ID may be created if you use the site or app again.

Security

We use HTTPS and hashed IPs. No method is 100% secure. Do not put passwords or private chat inside a group description.
